Adjustable The Artemis clasps are also adjustable so you can be certain that your gate can always be fully secured. This is very important because if the gate becomes loose, the gate will constantly pull against the fixings into the side of the spreader and damage the rivets holding the clasps in place. Mesh Clearing Brush The Artemis Compost Spreader Brush spans the full width of the spreader so all the mesh is kept clear as the spreader rotates. The brush only needs to be in light contact with the surface of the spreader to clear any material from the mesh which then simply falls back into the spreader for redistribution. Height Adjustable The Artemis Compost Spreader Brush is height adjustable so you can set the brush to apply as little or as much friction as you want. A couple of turns by hand of the wing nuts is all that is needed to make any adjustments. Brush Engagement The Artemis Compost Spreader Brush can remain attached to the spreader at all times. It can be quickly engaged or disengaged whenever the ground or material conditions require it by simply adjusting the wing nuts at both fixing points by hand. Mounting Positions The Artemis Compost Spreader Brush has been designed to fit most compost spreaders which have a round profile handlebar mount, including all versions of the Landzie Compost Spreader. The Brush has 4 fixing points, an inner pair and an outer pair. This ensures the brush can be mounted securely around handle brackets with a central, triangular or wide handle fixing point.
