I have 5 Panel Set (25.5″ TOTAL WIDTH) 12″ in length ON top of my old gas grill. AND YES, it does what it says, it gives juicier more evenly cooked food. It Amplified the heat on my grill even with the grill on the lowest settings and my food was cooked in less time. No out of control burning and flareups that I had did not hurt or burn my food. The reason I have a few flare ups is because of my homemade bourbon whiskey marinade I use. I will also buy some more GrillGrates and use them on my smokers.
