This is a pretty good product to keep an even heat through out the grilling surface! I installed these on a brand new Weber grill and they work great! I was skeptical about the claim that the grilling surface would be 100 to 150 degrees hotter than the dome thermometer and there really wasn’t much difference. Maybe Weber has improved their end! Have used them twice; once for chicken and once for ribs and so far am extremely happy! The grate tool takes some getting used to as you have to line it up with the grates to get under the meat, but that is a learning curve that you have to get used to. Maybe need to adjust the beer intake a little!
